speaker from Uganda on November 1.
Climate
change is happening now and it is threatening the lives of millions
of people around the world, mostly our sisters and brothers in developing
nations who are least able to cope. To better understand this problem

Uganda
discuss the impacts of climate
change on her community and its people. As part of the international
outreach of the Christian environmental stewardship organization
Restoring Eden , this program
will take place at in Rejoice Hall from 3-4:30 pm on
Sunday, Nov 1 st , 2009 . Please take this

human face on the challenges of a changing world.
MEEC Joins RE-AMP Network
RE-AMP is an eight-state network of nonprofits and foundations, striving for
Midwest leadership in 21st century clean energy by reducing electricity sector
global warming pollutants 80 percent by 2030. As a member of the network,
we join other Ohio non-profits working in the areas of energy efficiency, clean
energy, global warming solutions, and transportation to transform Ohio's energy
sector. Our goal is to bring the voice of the faith community to energy
policy and to mobilize area congregants to learn about and act on energy issues.
